For those who want to give their vehicle a fresh new look inside or out, vinyl wraps can be a durable and affordable alternative to full paint jobs or interior refurbishing. Both experts and consumers praise the VViViD+’s quality and durability at its price point, though there are varied opinions on how difficult it is to use, so it may not be the best pick for first-timers. The thickness of the vinyl itself and its adhesive can make curves and contours tricky even for experienced users; many recommend having proper tools on-hand. Some wraps are offered with a toolkit. 3M is a respected brand and its 2080 G12 series of car wraps gets high marks from experts. Ease of use seems to be a debatable topic.
