Professional Tool Reviews for Pros
Klein tells us that one of the main causes of hearing loss is loud sounds and exposure to noisy environments like construction sites. To combat this, Klein has released the Bluetooth Jobsite Earbuds. These earbuds not only provide passive hearing protection, but they also provide balanced and clean sound when streaming audio.
Klein Tools’ new Bluetooth Jobsite Earbuds have an NRR of 28 decibels, meaning they offer the necessary hearing protection to continue working without damaging your ears, preventing premature hearing loss. Not only that, but these earbuds deliver clear, crisp sound and have a built-in microphone, so you can listen to music and take calls without slowing down on the jobsite.
The Klein Bluetooth Jobsite Earbuds use passive noise reduction to protect your hearing. Note that these don’t provide any noise-cancelling technology, but seal the ear canal to drop the noise levels by 28dB(A). When your typical construction site poses a threat to your hearing, a 28dB reduction can help out a lot.
These earbuds also provide seamless streaming of stereo audio via a Bluetooth 5.0 connection to your devices. They also feature a built-in microphone so that you can take phone calls without having to stop what you’re doing.
The Klein Earbuds function similarly to other popular wireless earbuds on the market. They run on lithium-ion batteries and feature a runtime of up to 5 hours before you need to plug them back into their case for recharging. The case itself has a battery with a 10-hour runtime, offering up to 15 hours of total runtime between the earbuds and the case. Klein tells us that each component fully recharges in around 2 hours.
You can pick up the Klein Bluetooth Jobsite Earbuds for $69.97. They come with a charging case, USB-A to C Charging Cable, 3 sets of memory foam tips, and 3 sets of silicone tips. Klein backs the earbuds with a 1-year warranty.
When he doesn't have his hands on tools himself, Chris is often the man behind the camera lens making the rest of the team look good. In his free time, you might find Chris with his nose jammed in a book, or tearing out his remaining hair while watching Liverpool FC. He enjoys his faith, family, friends, and the Oxford comma.

Nice, but it’s a NO for me. I like the style that also wraps around the ear, so even if they lose their seal, they don’t fall onto the floor. I use those every week at work, beats the shit out of walkie talkies.
