My Nintendo Adds Wario-Themed Washi Tape As A Physical Reward (Europe) - Nintendo Life

We had to Google Washi Tape

My Nintendo varies a great deal between regions, but we'd suggest that it's well worth regular logins in Europe. You can get regular freebie Platinum Points on the website, and there's a steady flow of charming physical rewards up for grabs (often only with postage to pay).

The latest addition is a WarioWare: Get It Together! Washi Tape Set, which you can see below.

We recommend following that link above to get the relevant link for your territory, either EU or the UK. It's 500 Platinum Points for either option, and in the case of the My Nintendo UK store you also need to pay £1.99 postage, or deliver is free if you spend over £20 on the store in one order.

If you don't actually know what 'Washi Tape' is, this is a description from retailer Hobbycraft:

Originating from Japan, Washi Tape is a low tack, decorative masking tape that can be used to add pattern and colour to almost any project, from creating pretty scrapbook borders to Christmas gift wrapping. Tear it, stick it, reposition it and write on it, there are endless possibilities.

So if you want some stylish tape based on the WarioWare, this is your chance!

I only know what Washi tape is because they sell it in a couple shops in the city centre. It’s expensive sellotape.

Good job I like WarioWare I suppose 🤷‍♂️🤣

Reminds me of the Club Nintendo wrapping paper they had a long time ago. It's like, you wouldn't use the wrapping paper because the intact collectible item is more valuable than its use as wrapping to be discarded afterwards.

@MaddenR87 I've just gone through the French or German sites the last few times. It is annoying though.

You have to laugh, all the money that I have spent with Nintendo and I still haven't spent enough for some sellotape!

@RupeeClock id definitely would like to know what a Club Nintendo toilet paper would've looked like

This is even nicer than the now (sadly discontinued) buttons, but I couldn't bear to use these knowing that I couldn't replace them.

can't order if there is no creditcard. so aint gonna get it.

Get it together... Get it? Together?

Keeping stuff together since I don't know when.

I'll get it to tape my mouth shut.

I was convinced this was bog roll in the picture... bit bummed it isn't

@nessisonett interesting…and..what is sellotape?

@Radioactivesuit I thought sellotape was a universal thing. Like sticky tape. It’s just sticky tape.

I wonder if the tape would be called "Ore Tape" this time.

Washi is Boshi's name in the Japanese version of Super Mario RPG

"Based on the WarioWare".

I really wish they would take it down it a notch with that art of Wario picking his nose on every piece of related merchandise…
